The First Violinist Tomas Vinklat
		Tomas Vinklat was born on 1973 in Teplice. He studied violin at the Prague - Academy of Music, with Prof. Nora Grumliková and made his concert-diploma 1997. 1988 Live-appearance in the Czechoslovak Television. 1989 2nd prize winner at the competition of the Czech Conservatories. 1991 winner of the Chambermusic-Competion "Dusek´s Bertramka" in Prague. 1997 Live-broadcasting of a concert from Studio 1 in the Czech Radio Prague. Scholarship at the "Guildhall School of Music" in London with Prof.David Takeno (1994-95). 1995 2nd prize winner at the "North London - Music Festival". Following studies with Prof.Alfred Staar in Vienna and Graz. Since 1998 Tomas Vinklat is member of the VIENNA PHILHARMONIC ORCHESTRA and the VIENNA STATE OPERA. Many recordings for the japanese CD-label "Camerata Tokyo". Since 2001 he is the 1st violinist of the QUARTET VIENNA SOUND and the ENSEMBLE VIENNA SOUND,1st violinist in the soloistic set up of the VIENNA STRAUSS - SOLOISTS. Tomas Vinklat @ www.youtube.com
